Now that you’ve got a fully belly of whatever your feast of choice was over the holiday, your thoughts may turn to all the upcoming hoopla that ensues each year. As my computer monitor gave me the black screen of death just days before Thanksgiving, I turned to my local technology retailer for advice on my purchase after sifting through several websites to find deals. Mind you this was the day before Turkey Day and two days before Black Friday when I was wanting to purchase computerware. I wasn’t about to sleep overnight in the parking lot or come to fisticuffs to save a few bucks on what I needed immediately. Besides, the Geek Squad would come knocking on my door and wouldn’t have a prayer of fixing things without a monitor.

So I share with you some websites that may make your holiday shopping easier if you’re like me and swear off shopping malls between Thanksgiving and Martin Luther King Day in order to save your sanity. These sites will not only save your sanity, but a few dollars to boot.
More sites are listed on my November Live Wire e-zine. The archives should be up on my website: http://www.funcilitators.com/resources.htm

Here are some helpful sites:

  • Shopzilla
  • Amazon Books & Stuff
  • Here’s to saving your sanity and your savings accounts!
